Bob's solar spa project , With two used solar water panels and some plumbing
I am able two heat the spa up for almost free . The outside temp on the
thermometer is actually the spa water temp , 102.6 deg . This is a drain back
system , witch means when the pump shuts off the system drains preventing
freeze damage , hopefully !

With two more used solar water panels I am making hot water for the house
also . This is a closed loop system with anti freeze and a heat exchanger for
totally free hot water from the sun , the pump is powered from the solar
electric panel at the top of the solar water panels , this allows for total
control over the water pump , so it wont run if the sun is not shinning , thus
no cooling of the water at night or cloudy days

So you say you cant back wash where you live, Then where are you washing those filters out at ? I could
barely lift these myself much less carry them some where else to clean, and that 3 mo to a years worth of
dirt is a mess, it is allot easier to back wash a sand filter than to go through this, these cartridges cost
